Caden Fiddler
Caden Fiddler, a self-taught artist from Vancouver Island, embarked on his artistic journey at the age of 16. Known for his focus on hyperrealistic pencil drawings using charcoal, graphite, and carbon on paper, Caden's art was born out of a newfound passion after a severe concussion from playing hockey in 2014.
Caden's background includes holistic nutrition, fitness, and natural health, but his art seamlessly integrates into his life. In 2017, he founded Caden Fiddler Art, driven by a mission to express his passion for nature, wildlife, and the nuanced world of detail. Inspired by his diverse background, Caden meticulously crafts drawings and personally handcrafts premium wooden frames to enhance each piece.
Caden's artistic journey has taken him to prestigious shows such as the Sooke Fine Art Show in Vancouver Island, where he made his debut in 2017. Showcasing his commitment to artistic growth, he has since attended the Sooke Fine Art Show four times. Additionally, he participated in the Winter Wonderland Show in Campbell River in 2018 and the Sidney Fine Art Show in 2019.
Recognition followed as Caden received the People's Choice Award at the Sooke Fine Art Show in 2018 and the Best Work On Paper along with the People's Choice Award at the Sidney Fine Art Show in 2019. In April 2021, he had the honor of being a featured guest artist for the Federation of Canadian Artists.
As Caden continues to explore diverse realms of artistic expression, his commitment remains unwavering. Through art creation and content production, he aims to inspire others to unlock their creative potential. Join Caden on this journey of exploration, creation, and inspiration.
